Video Essay

Produced as an assessment pieces for my MA in Cultural and Creative Industries at KCL, this video essay project explores the ideas represented in American westerns in response to the question:

“According to Robert Warshow (1962), the setting for an American western film is always about 1870, when in fact the western deftly articulates the changing social, cultural and political concerns of the times in which the particular film was made. Is this true?”
