Produced as my final assessment for the module “Immersive Media and Extended Realities” as part of my MA. Inspired by Simon Parkin’s A Game of Birds and Wolves, the proposal outlines the potential for an immersive theatre experience, designed to put audiences in the shoes of a group of women whose efforts helped win the Battle of the Atlantic. Alongside the basic outline of the show, the essay investigates how certain theories of immersion can help create engaging histories.
